Excellent, our best restaurant experience in Tepoztlan. The food is very good, waiters are very good, and it's great to sit outside on the garden terrace. Prices normal for this type of restaurant. We can recommend the cecina, the hot cakes, the omelets, and the fresh carrot juice. We went there for a late breakfast after the hike to the pyramid.

We had planned to eat breakfast before our hike up the Tepozteco. We had not found a spot and luckily we ran into Axitla. This was was not only scenic but also had great food and service. We requested a table in the patio area not knowing that we would get an incredible view of the Tepozteco. We were looking for a light meal being that we were about to take on a good hike. However, we did not realize how well served their plates were. This is not a complaint tho, the food was delicious and extremely reasonably priced. I would suggest you stop by for breakfast or lunch after the hike, which by the way, the archeological site which houses the pyramid is still closed.

Maybe the prettiest place I've ever eaten. Excellent service, the waiter was very patient and attentive. Verde sauce yum, Cafe de olla fantastic. If I could live there, I would.

Best breakfast place in Tepotzlan. Great staff. Free coffee refills. Beautiful outside terrace that's suitable for romantic meals or family dinners.

The food here was simply amazing. They brought fresh bread and tortillas with the salads. The waiter was extremely helpful and very attentive. Finally, you simply can't beat the view! One of the best experiences of the trip.

Amazing restaurant close to the trail leading to Tepozteca. Wide variety of authentic local dishes, great service and surroundings that can't be beat. The property is basically a natural oasis with an excellent view of the mountain from many tables.
